Schuylkill Haven Driver License Center to Close for Renovations

The Schuylkill Haven Driver License Center will be closed for facility renovations starting on Monday, February 24, 2025. It will reopen on Tuesday, March 11.

REAL ID Days

To help ensure Pennsylvanians are prepared for the upcoming federal REAL ID enforcement deadline of May 7, 2025, PennDOT will hold REAL ID Days on February 24 in Butler, Washington, Lebanon, Lehighton, Bensalem, and Easton.

Online Services Unavailable

Some online services will not be available Sunday, February 23, 2025 at 7:00 AM until Sunday, February 23, 2025 at 10:00 AM.

Overview

PennDOT Driver and Vehicle Services administers the state's 12.1 million vehicle registrations and 10.1 million driver's licenses and IDs. It also oversees programs such as REAL ID, motorcycle safety, and vehicle emission inspections.

New License Plates Coming in 2025

New license plates are coming in 2025! The new license plate showcases Pennsylvania as the birthplace of America. It features the Liberty Bell and the text, “Let Freedom Ring.”
